David Thrift Official Website

X

Welcome to the D98.co X page.

This is my official X page where I keep notes about that are related to the X (formerly Twitter) social media platform.

Primarily I’m keeping track of my @D98_co X Lists here.

This page helps me to remember how I am managing my X account for this website, and all of the pages on X I’m following.

The primary way that I manage X is with the X Lists feature.

Private Lists:

These are my private lists on X. You won’t be able to access these lists on X with the links below since they are private, but you can read the descriptions to see what I use these lists for. The links in this list are for my own personal use. You may want to add similar private lists into your work flow to help you manage your X account like I do with private lists. In most of these lists, I must the accounts added to them so they don’t show up on my “discover” tab on X, but I can check these lists to keep up with the content if I wish.

COOL – Accounts posting stuff that is cool, but I’m not officially following. All accounts muted. – link

DEPORT – You can try to avoid politics, but sometimes you can’t. As a U.S. Army Veteran, I am a deporter supporter. I use this list to add any accounts that mentioned anything about deporting illegal people in the USA. All accounts muted. – link

FOL UNO – Accounts I’m officially following, but not organized in a proper list yet. This list allows me to hold accounts I’m following in one place until I can move them to more appropriate lists. – link

FOREIGN NEWS – Foreign country news accounts. All accounts muted. I prefer to focus on following USA accounts on X. This list is used to hold X accounts that are related for foreign country news. – link

IDWTSI – I don’t want to see it on my discover tab. All accounts muted. Accounts posting stuff I don’t want to see on my discover tab get added to this list. It doesn’t mean they are posting bad content. It just means it’s not the right content that I’m looking to get into regularly on Discover. – link

INBOX – Accounts on trial for following. DO NOT MUTE. This is a holding list for accounts I plan to follow, or am considering to, but haven’t done it yet for whatever reason. – link

M 001 – Accounts muted for the fuck of it. – link

NEWS – Mainstream News. All accounts muted. – link

POLITICS – This list is primarily for political commenters. All accounts muted. – link

RELIGION – Fuck religion. I’m not exactly atheist, but I despise all religions and decline to participate. Religion is fucking stupid, causes division, and makes people act like they clearly have no fucking sense whatsoever. Anyone posting religious shit gets put in this list. If I ever want proof of my thoughts about this topic, I just go look at the shit people are posting in this list. All accounts muted. – link

USA GOVERNMENT – USA Government agencies. – link

USA GRAY – USA politicians and Government. All accounts muted. – link

Public Lists:

I currently have no public lists on X. This is because I haven’t really started following a lot of accounts yet.

Currently In Progress:

As of: 2025-12-18-THU-10:31-CST – I realize that I’ve been neglecting D98 for quite some time. It wasn’t intentional. I’ve just gotten very heavily involved in building surfman.co, my other website. That website will carry a new PDF version of my directory listings, some of which are listed here, and could also offer some free ebooks. My intentions are to combine this website with the new website in ways where more online content will be featured here, and over there, you can download a pdf for tablet use. So I haven’t forgotten about this website. I just have multiple projects going on, and I’m trying to focus on that one for awhile. I have decided over the last couple of months that I need to consolidate the number of websites I’m maintaining down to 2 or 3. I’m also in a position where I need to seriously declutter my home, and I don’t do well at decluttering lol. So I’ve got a lot of work going on, but no updates to show until I finish building that website and get the pdf directory online for distribution. I hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026!

Disclaimers:

Some things to note about the content I post on this website. Also these disclaimers will eventually be moved to a more appropriate page at some point in the future.

Horoscopes Disclaimer:

I enjoy checking the horoscopes and posting my comments about them. I don’t really take the horoscopes too serious. Mostly I read them out of curiosity to see if anything corresponds to events happening in my life. I am also not “religious”, nor “atheist”. I value that I have the ability to listen to spiritual-based teachings without getting caught up in the “thou better do this shit or else because god said so” way of thinking. I also value that I can learn, and dare I say, at times be guided in life some way, or inspired by the horoscopes to frame my choices and thought patterns a certain way. In the end, it all comes down to karma for me, and I choose to be guided by me, and me alone… not someone else’s idea of who or what I’m supposed to be, or how I’m supposed to act, based on their beliefs.

Information Disclaimer:

All information provided on this website is provided as is. Every effort for accuracy is a top priority, however this depends on the sources where information is curated from. D98.co is not responsible for any unintended inaccuracies.

Product Links:

I share a lot of product links on this website, primarily from Amazon. It should be noted that I am not affiliated with Amazon, nor any other retail outlet, and I do not receive any compensation for sharing product links. I simply enjoy sharing product links for things I have either bought and enjoyed myself, or would consider buying, or simply sharing for the spirit of sharing products that someone else may find useful.

Lemmy:

I’ve been checking out Lemmy.ml frequently lately. It’s my understanding that it is a federated version of Reddit. I’ve seen some interesting and informative topics posted there that people are discussing. I am now listing them for resource value.

NOTE: This section of the site is starting to look like it could use it’s own dedicated page, or perhaps even it’s own directory on the blog. I haven’t decided which direction to go for this, but I am looking at moving this content to a more appropriate place at some point in the future since I keep coming back to it.

ANOTHER NOTE: There is another site similar to Lemmy called PieFed I’m gonna have to check out. I should actually I will have to check it out in more depth to see if it’s worth adding to my content curation workflow… and I think it would be. I’ve glanced over it and found this post about a website that generates a bookshelf image based off of your Goodreads account. It never hurts to have multiple sources to curate content from. Also I’m considering to set up a new Reddit account as well.
