EOM Updates 003 September 2025

EOM Updates 003 August 2025.

This post is published ahead of time. It’s normally published at the end of the month. This month I’m trying something new. There may be updates on this post, and there may not… but I’m going to try and fill it in as much as possible as each update comes along so that I don’t have so much to do at the end of the month. Fingers crossed.

The update listings below are a curated collection of what has taken place this month in September 2025, grouped by topics. You can find this months full archive of updates in chronological order here on the blog, and you can find a listing of all Updates Archive posts here on the Updates page to explore all updates in the past.

Checking In:

Sometimes I’m away for awhile working on other projects, and so periodically I will make a check in update just to show I’m alive, and maybe update what I’ve been doing elsewhere. Other times, I may check in every hour if I’m bored. You never know.

2025-09-14-SUN-19:39-CST – CHECKING IN – I got the Painnt art caught up on that I needed to do for tonight’s workflow. I’m gonna get back to working on building my Updates Archive for awhile.

2025-09-14-SUN-17:00-CST – CHECKING IN – I am a dumbass today. I started working on some new Painnt art, and I got 20 new ones done, but I forgot to select a high quality resolution for exporting the files. So I had to delete them, and now I have to do them over. It’s ok. I’ll deal with it. I just wasn’t paying attention, but I’m glad I caught it before I got many more images made. It’s only a minor set back. It just means I get to look at the pictures again.

2025-09-13-SAT-18:36-CST – CHECKING IN – It’s a great Saturday. The weather is nice here in Southeast Alabama today. Tonight I am focusing on working on making new digital art in Painnt, and also putting together a new workflow routine I can try to stick with. That’s pretty much it.

2025-09-10-WED-19:57-CST – CHECKING IN – I forgot to check in yesterday. No big deal I guess. As far as productivity goes, I did what I plan to do tonight, which is get back on Facebook and follow more business pages… I know, how exciting lol… except it kind of is for me anyway to see what is out there. I’ve been using UpNote while working alongside Firefox to collect my Facebook page links while adding them into my que for the directory I’m building. It has been a very easy way to accomplish what I need to in my workflow with that, without needing to keep up with my flashdrive that has all of my text files on it. I highly recommend UpNote to anyone who needs to be able to write notes in a Windows Notepad-like experience that includes cloud syncing. UpNote is like Window Notepad in a way, but with the cloud, and many editing functions included. I really enjoy using it.

2025-09-08-MON-20:20-CST – CHECKING IN – It’s Monday again. That means I am working on my Surface Pro 11 from now until Friday. That means I’ll probably just be working on following more pages on Facebook for my directory since I haven’t gotten my Surface tablet set up for doing much of anything else.

2025-09-07-SUN-20:17-CST – CHECKING IN – I’m uncertain what tonight holds as far as productivity goes. I’m not really in the mood to set up my work station. I spent some time earlier this evening stringing up a new beaded necklace. Now I’m relaxing and generating new AI art in the Dream By Wombo app. I could end up just doing that for the rest of the night. I do feel like a break from the computer would do me some good.

2025-09-06-SAT-21:51-CST – CHECKING IN – As noted in my last check in update, I’m about to start working on my zine. I’m shutting down all of my txt files and getting into my AI art so I can start numbering jpg files. There are several categories of art in my inventory. I think I’ve decided to include 50 images from each category, but I’ll be numbering the files up to 100. This way I can get some ready for the first zine, and have some waiting for the next one.

2025-09-06-SAT-21:26-CST – CHECKING IN – Ok, as does often happen with me, I’ve decided to change up my workflow for tonight. I want to dive into my inventory of AI generated art, and start picking out some art for my upcoming zine. I have published Update Archive posts to September 2026 so far. I think I’ve had enough post publishing for tonight. I can’t do the post publishing thing all night like I planned. It gets boring after awhile. Oh well. It’s ok by me as long as I’m doing something productive, and I know I’ll enjoy looking at the art.

2025-09-06-SAT-17:16-CST – CHECKING IN – I’m pushing on this evening and through the night with some more 808 State playing on Spotify, and I’ll continue adding Update Archives posts to the blog. Just working to get it done.

2025-09-06-SAT-02:24-CST – CHECKING IN – I got 808 State playing on Spotify, and I’ve been adding Update Archives posts to the blog like I said I was going to do. I’m gonna take a break and surf the web for a little while. I actually don’t know if I will do any more work tonight to be honest.

2025-09-05-FRI-18:57-CST – CHECKING IN – Left over pizza is on the menu tonight. I’ve also got a couple of frozen dinners and snacks if needed. Tonight I’m focusing on moving pages over from one of my other websites.

2025-09-02-TUE-00:06-CST – CHECKING IN – I almost choked on Taco Bell earlier tonight. Not because the food wasn’t good, but because I don’t know how to chew my food half the time when I’m eating, and I always eat fast… because I’m an idiot like that. Anyway, I made it through the ordeal… obviously, since I’m writing this check in update. I’ve just finished getting the Updates page updated with last month’s updates archive. So that means I’m now ready to proceed on with more site building this month.

Discoveries:

It’s always nice discovering new things on the internet that are useful and interesting.

None for this time period.

Following On Facebook:

I’ve been following a lot of pages on Facebook for years, however in July 2025, shortly after launching D98.co, I decided to use Facebook to start building a website directory. So I started following more pages on Facebook so that I can start building lists of entries for the directory. Below you will find an alphabetical list of the pages I have followed in August 2025. You will find a mix of business pages, and pages related to travel, stores, and more.

None for this time period (yet).

I have a list I haven’t edited for publishing to this archive yet. I am working on it.

Random Thoughts:

Sometimes I have some random thoughts. A lot of times it’s random bullshit. Other times I may have a point. I don’t care what you think either way unless you agree lol.

None for this time period.

Site Updates:

Here are the main recent site updates that I’ve made.

2025-09-06-SAT-05:12-CST – SITE UPDATE – LEMMY – I’ve added a few new topics links to the Lemmy section in the site footer area.

2025-09-05-FRI-21:39-CST – SITE UPDATE – UPDATES ARCHIVE – I’ve just finished adding this months Updates Archive, and EOM Updates Report links to the Updates page. Earlier tonight in a check in update, I wrote that I was going to work on moving pages over from one of my other websites. I have changed my mind. I’m going to do something else. I’m going to publish some Updates posts to the blog ahead of time for a few months ahead so that I can have them ready to start filling in as time passes in the near future.

Spotify Life:

Here is what I listened to on Spotify in September 2025.

None for this time period.

Word!:

I am a quotes and sayings hoarder. Here are some I’ve collected from around the internet in August 2025.

None for this time period.

Zine Progress:

2025-09-12-FRI-21:25-CST – ZINE 1 PROGRESS – I was looking at my photo gallery on my phone earlier tonight and noticed some work I had been doing with the Painnt app. I have art images saved in 4 different folders, and I have completely forgotten what my workflow was for that project lol. I haven’t worked on it in a long time. So I bought a new subscription for Painnt on Windows, and tonight I’m going to be working on converting some NSFW photos into art for the zine. This way I can build a new workflow. I also need to get back to numbering some of my other art images.

2025-09-07-SUN-05:54-CST – ZINE 1 PROGRESS – I have 1 more set of art files to organize. Then I need to transfer some other stuff that I’ve been hoarding into my main collection. I will then organize that for the zine, and then I’ll have all of my art and photo files needed. Time to shut down my work station.

2025-09-07-SUN-04:35-CST – ZINE 1 PROGRESS – I did in fact take a nap. It was much needed. Now back to work on the zine.

2025-09-07-SUN-00:33-CST – ZINE 1 PROGRESS – Debating whether to take a nap or keep working on this zine. Honestly I’m feeling like a nap is in good order.

2025-09-06-SAT-23:40-CST – ZINE 1 PROGRESS – I’ve just finished numbering 110 Dezgo AI generated art images from my collection for the upcoming zine.

Closing Thoughts:

In September 2025 I took a much needed break away from this website. This break ran from September 22nd to October 4th. I spent a lot of time working on random things. In October I hope to get back into working on site projects as much as possible, but no promises are made as I’m still feeling like some break time is in order for awhile longer. We will see what happens. These closing thoughts were published on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 3:07 PM CST.

Thanks for using D98.co!

Below is a look at some other content that may interest you (under construction at the moment).

Lemmy:

Lemmy is an open-source, self-hostable link aggregation and discussion platform, similar to Reddit or Hacker News, but operating on a decentralized network called the Fediverse. Users can subscribe to “communities” (similar to subreddits) on different servers, or “instances,” and interact with users and communities across the entire network using the ActivityPub protocol. This decentralized model offers alternatives to centralized social media by promoting user control, data ownership, and community autonomy.

I recently discovered Lemmy, and although I haven’t signed up for an account there yet, I have been checking in on some of the discussions that seemed interesting enough to follow, or that may offer some useful resources. Below is a list of some of the topics I check in on from time to time.

Currently In Progress:

As of: 2025-12-18-THU-10:31-CST – I realize that I’ve been neglecting D98 for quite some time. It wasn’t intentional. I’ve just gotten very heavily involved in building surfman.co, my other website. That website will carry a new PDF version of my directory listings, some of which are listed here, and could also offer some free ebooks. My intentions are to combine this website with the new website in ways where more online content will be featured here, and over there, you can download a pdf for tablet use. So I haven’t forgotten about this website. I just have multiple projects going on, and I’m trying to focus on that one for awhile. I have decided over the last couple of months that I need to consolidate the number of websites I’m maintaining down to 2 or 3. I’m also in a position where I need to seriously declutter my home, and I don’t do well at decluttering lol. So I’ve got a lot of work going on, but no updates to show until I finish building that website and get the pdf directory online for distribution. I hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026!

Disclaimers:

Some things to note about the content I post on this website. Also these disclaimers will eventually be moved to a more appropriate page at some point in the future.

Horoscopes Disclaimer:

I enjoy checking the horoscopes and posting my comments about them. I don’t really take the horoscopes too serious. Mostly I read them out of curiosity to see if anything corresponds to events happening in my life. I am also not “religious”, nor “atheist”. I value that I have the ability to listen to spiritual-based teachings without getting caught up in the “thou better do this shit or else because god said so” way of thinking. I also value that I can learn, and dare I say, at times be guided in life some way, or inspired by the horoscopes to frame my choices and thought patterns a certain way. In the end, it all comes down to karma for me, and I choose to be guided by me, and me alone… not someone else’s idea of who or what I’m supposed to be, or how I’m supposed to act, based on their beliefs.

Information Disclaimer:

All information provided on this website is provided as is. Every effort for accuracy is a top priority, however this depends on the sources where information is curated from. D98.co is not responsible for any unintended inaccuracies.

Product Links:

I share a lot of product links on this website, primarily from Amazon. It should be noted that I am not affiliated with Amazon, nor any other retail outlet, and I do not receive any compensation for sharing product links. I simply enjoy sharing product links for things I have either bought and enjoyed myself, or would consider buying, or simply sharing for the spirit of sharing products that someone else may find useful.

Lemmy:

I’ve been checking out Lemmy.ml frequently lately. It’s my understanding that it is a federated version of Reddit. I’ve seen some interesting and informative topics posted there that people are discussing. I am now listing them for resource value.

NOTE: This section of the site is starting to look like it could use it’s own dedicated page, or perhaps even it’s own directory on the blog. I haven’t decided which direction to go for this, but I am looking at moving this content to a more appropriate place at some point in the future since I keep coming back to it.

ANOTHER NOTE: There is another site similar to Lemmy called PieFed I’m gonna have to check out. I should actually I will have to check it out in more depth to see if it’s worth adding to my content curation workflow… and I think it would be. I’ve glanced over it and found this post about a website that generates a bookshelf image based off of your Goodreads account. It never hurts to have multiple sources to curate content from. Also I’m considering to set up a new Reddit account as well.
